We are very flexible throughout the year with any arrival and departure day, but we do require a minimum rental period of a 2-night stay.
Check-in time is 3 pm – check out by 10 am.
Earlier arrival times & extended checkouts may be available but must be agreed upon in advance.
CHARGES & TERMS:
A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 for each week or part week must be received within seven days of the booking; otherwise, the dates requested will be released. The balance is to be received, at the latest, six weeks before your arrival date.
The Old Liquor Stores owners reserve the right to cancel the booking when full payment has not been received five weeks before the arrival date. Your home address, email and contact telephone number will be required before we can accept a booking.
In case of a cancellation, if less than six weeks before arrival, we will make every effort to re-let the apartment on our website; if successful, we will refund the balance you have paid, less the £100 deposit. However, if we cannot re-let, we have to advise that you will be liable for the total cost of the holiday booking.
- We offer a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
- A 50% refund for cancellations made at least seven days before check-in.
- No refunds for cancellations made within seven days of check-in.
We therefore strongly recommend that you take out Holiday Cancellation insurance coverage.
We can accept all major Credit and Debit cards over the phone but prefer you to use bank transfer. We will send you our bank details once we have accepted your booking, and international payments are welcome.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES:
All damages and breakages caused during occupancy are your responsibility – You are expected to take care of the property and its contents whilst in your occupancy. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if something is broken so we can replace it as soon as possible.
The apartment is designed and equipped to accommodate two adults only. Under no circumstances should more than two people occupy the cottage overnight.
CARS & BICYCLES
We do not have private parking. There is parking on Commercial Road and a small free car park in the “Pot Market” between the church and the Coop. We cannot be held responsible for the security of your vehicle.
You may store bicycles in the downstairs “Bike and Boot Room”. However, these should be covered by your insurance, and we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ bicycles whilst stored on the premises.
The Old Liquor Stores is a pet-free apartment.
The apartment and patio area is No Smoking or vaping.
BED LINEN & TOWELS:
Bed linen, tea towels, personal towels, toilet rolls and kitchen rolls are included in the rental charge. Shower gel and hand soap will also be provided.
GAS & ELECTRICITY:
All electricity, gas and water usage is included in the rental charge. The heating is on a timer which should be sufficient for your needs. It is possible to boost the heating for a short period, but please do not use it excessively. The gas fire should only be operated when you are in the apartment. Lights should be turned off when you are not in, except for the outside light at night.
Before your arrival, the cottage is meticulously cleaned by our cleaning team. You are politely requested that you leave the cottage in a condition that you would like to find it.
The Old Liquor Stores owners reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning and materials if the cottage and equipment are left in an excessively dirty or damaged condition.
The Old Liquor Stores will be vacated by 10 am on your departure day, giving us time to service the apartment before the next guests arrive.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the appartment is subject to circumstances beyond our control before arrival. Under these circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
